Kvarnleden is a scenic cycle route in Nacka municipality, east of Stockholm. The trail takes its name from the municipal coat of arms with the mill wheel, and water is a constant theme along the route. Here you cycle through a landscape where coast, lakes and archipelago environments meet culture and history.
The trail stretches from Sickla out towards Nacka and largely follows waterside paths. During the tour, you will pass 18th-century mills, charming marinas and natural areas with plenty of paths. There are also several opportunities for breaks at cafés, restaurants and viewpoints.
Kvarnleden is a cycling experience that combines the proximity of the big city with the tranquil surroundings of the archipelago and is suitable for both a shorter excursion with several stops along the way. You cycle on a mix of cycle paths, smaller roads and trails.
