Runt Vätternleden takes you through magnificent scenery, charming towns and historic sites around Lake Vättern. The trail is marked with blue signs and can be started anywhere along the route.
Around the Vättern Trail there are also several well-known destinations and attractions, as well as a unique connection to cycling history. It shares part of its route with The water round, the world's largest exercise bike race, which attracts thousands of cyclists every year in June as part of the A Swedish Classic.
On some stretches the trail runs on roads with higher traffic, where it is important to be extra careful. Runt Vätternleden is developed and signposted by the Swedish Cycling Society.
