Vänerleden is a national cycle route that runs around Lake Vänern, Sweden's largest lake. The trail is about 640 km long, divided into daily stages, and offers a mix of lake cycling, cultural experiences and nature in constant variation.

Along the way you will pass through towns and villages with restaurants, cafés, farm shops and accommodation. The towns around Lake Vänern also offer a rich cultural life, from museums and art galleries to historical sights. In the countryside, cozy swimming spots, coffee stops and quiet nature experiences await.

The cycling takes place on a mix of separated cycle lanes, low-speed country roads and some sections on gravel roads. This makes the trail both accessible and varied, perfect for everything from short family rides to a longer cycling vacation. Whatever the arrangement, a tour filled with lakeside views, local flavors and beautiful nature experiences awaits.
