Here, a plethora of bicycle paths branch into the three landscapes of Skåne, Småland and Blekinge. In the north-eastern part of Skåne, nature is a little wilder than in the rest of the landscape. There are deep forests, lakes to stop at to eat lunch bags and raging streams. There are several beautiful nature reserves in the area. In Kristianstad you can make a stop at the Regional Museum and northeast of the city is Bäckaskog Castle dating back to the 13th century. Don't miss Kristianstad's Water Kingdom, designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve. In the Hamnparken in Karlshamn in Blekinge you can admire Axel Olsson's statue of Karl-Oskar and Kristina from Vilhelm Moberg's books on emigrants. It was from here that they sailed to America. To the north are Osby, Småland's Älmhult and to the south you will find among others Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Bromölla and Sölvesborg.
