On the small Lugnåsberget there is little traffic, winding dirt roads, beautiful views, exciting environments and short distances. At Lugnåsberget Ekohotell you live comfortably in family rooms, with cute sheep almost outside the door. The eco-hotel is located high up on Lugnåsberget, which is part of both the UNESCO Platåbergen Geopark and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Vänerskärgården with Kinnekulle. Lugnåsberget is also called Kinnekulle's little sister and there is a lot to experience here.

During 3 days you will discover the small Lugnåsberget by bike. Cycle down to lake Vristulven and into
the forest to Tjuvugnen, the old robber's nest. Cycle on top of the mountain and see Lake Vänern, Kinnekulle and Billingen. Or you look down into the big wolf pit in the middle of the forest. The distances are short and there are many opportunities for stops along the way.

Take the opportunity to swim in the lake, which is about 5 km from the Ekohotellet, and paddle a canoe for a day. Vristulven is a forest lake and here there is a small sandy beach for the smallest children. There are also many small islands in the lake, some of which you may not go ashore on during the summer because they are protected so that the birds can have peace and quiet when they have young. Crawl into the thief's nest Tjuvgnen and maybe you'll find some blueberries or strawberries along the way. One day you cycle to the Qvarnstensgruvan museum and join a guided tour into a real mine.

At Ekohotellet there are sheep in the pasture and a garden to play in. There are also berries on bushes and trees to munch on. The package includes a barbecue basket with sausages from the local charcuterie, and you choose where you want to grill - on the barbecue areas in the garden or on the barbecue areas by the lake. The breakfast basket is ready when you wake up and then you have access to a nice guest kitchen where you can cook your own food that suits the family for the rest of the day.
