Salt water and beautiful cliffs abound in Bohuslän. This cycling package takes you all the way to the small island of Denmark off Tjörn, which is Sweden's seventh largest island. Lots of sky, boating and sea views during cycling, which also takes you to the domains of visual art and history. The icing on the cake will be the accommodation, which can hardly be closer to water.

On Fridays and Saturdays in May and every day during June-August, Salt & Sill serves its sharing menu (smaller dishes that are served continuously) in the package.

Day 1 - Visual arts and sculpture on Tjörn

On this day you will get to know Tjörn's beautiful landscape, its history and cultural expressions. You start cycling towards Skärhamn, which has had a fairly significant shipping business and fishing. A major attraction is the Nordic Watercolor Museum where you can admire art by, among others, Salvador Dali, Elsa Beskow and Anders Zorn.

Once up on the bicycle saddle again, you cycle along the harbor through Skärhamn. There is nice shopping in small shops and galleries. The next stage of the bike takes about an hour and takes you to Pilane. There will be some asphalt and some charming small roads. Arriving in Pilane is both the historic burial ground that dates to the Iron Age and Sculpture in Pilane which is an exhibition of modern sculpture.

After enjoying the sculptures, you cycle at your own pace back towards the accommodation at Salt & Sill. The route stretches over small pleasant gravel roads Kebene and Tolleby Tjärn. You spend the night at Sweden's first floating hotel. In the restaurant, the sea and the coast are obviously the inspiration.

Day 2 - Breakfast and return journey

Nice hotel. The first appetizer was nothing to cheer about, the carrot. The breakfast was very nice. Bike excursion with two different visits was too few on a long bike ride. In addition, to pay 600 in entry for two people. It should have been included in the package. At least got the price it was on the website as the page had not been updated. It was positive.
