Kattegattleden verified

The Kattegat Trail is the coastal bike path that won the award in 2018 Bicycle route of the year in Europe. Mostly car-free and always close to salty dips and beautiful vantage points. The trail goes from Helsingborg to Gothenburg through small fishing villages and summer towns such as Båstad, Halmstad and Varberg.

Hallandstrafiken's regional buses
Bikes may be included as long as space is available on the regional buses as long as they are equipped with a special suspension device until 23 o'clock. The bike must always have its own ticket and the price is the same as for a youth ticket.

Krösatåg
Bicycles may be included, but a maximum of ten bicycles per train. Tandem bikes must not be included. Bicycle ticket is the equivalent of a single ticket for youth.

Pågatåg
Bicycles may be included, subject to space, but a maximum of nine bicycles per train. Bicycle ticket you buy in ticket vending machine or app just before departure. If you buy your personal ticket in the app you can make an addition for your bike, the price is 20 SEK and valid for 2 hours throughout Skåne.

Skånetrafiken
Regional transport buses have bicycle holders and take bikes as far as possible. It can accommodate at most one bicycle per bus. Bicycles can only be brought on weekends between 04:00 and 23:00. During the summer period June 15 - August 15, these times apply every day.

Västtåg
You can bring a regular bicycle, folded mini bike, scooter and balance bike if space is available. It is free to bring a bike on board a train. Please note that other rules apply when traveling with Hallandstrafiken on the Veddige-Varberg-Veddige route or with Jönköping Länstrafik on the Sandhem-Nässjö-Sandhem route. Box bicycles and bicycle carts must not be included.

Västtrafik
You may not bring regular bicycles on board buses. Collapsed mini bike, scooter and balance bike may be included free of charge.

Öresundståg
Bicycles may be included, subject to space, but a maximum of nine bicycles per train. Bicycle ticket you buy in ticket vending machine or app just before departure. If you buy your personal ticket in the app you can make an addition for your bike, the price is 20 SEK and valid for 2 hours throughout Skåne.
