On Sunday, August 13, 2017, Järvsö Gårdstramp will be organized for the first time. Between 09.00 and 17.00 you can cycle between different farms in the Järvsötrakt and taste food and drink with local flavor.
Järvsö clip on thin bread, freshly baked buns, organic milk, locally produced honey, ice cream and so on. A large selection of organic food is offered at the 16 farms and there will also be craft products, galleries, tractor museums and much more to see.
The starting point is Järvsö in Hälsingland. As a participant you get a map so that you can find between the farms and a program where you can read about what is offered at each place. You choose how far you want to cycle and many farms you want to visit. In order to buy what you want, you must bring cash or swish.
Järvsö Gårdstramp is organized by Destination Järvsö in collaboration with Farm Food Table. The organizers would prefer you to register in advance via a form that you find on Järvsö Gårdstramp's website. It will also be possible to register the same day at the registration points at the farms Stenegård, Åsliden and Pallars (registration opens 08.30).
Organizers recommend that you use a helmet during the bike ride, and bring a bottle of water if you get thirsty. Participation is at your own risk, so it can be good to take out accident insurance. At the Åsliden farm, Järvsö Cykelservice will be in place between 11.00 - 14.00 with the possibility of easy service.
