This year's edition of the Swedish Bicycle Fair will be held at the Swedish Fair in Gothenburg between Friday 15 March and Sunday 17 March. One of the features is Cykla in Sweden where you can go and get inspiration for summer bicycle trips at the various destinations that exhibit. Sweden by Bike is on site to tell you about bike tourism in Sweden. We asked some questions about the fair to Patrik Löwstedt who is the project manager for the fair.
What does the visitor find Swedish Bicycle Fair in Gothenburg?
Up to 100 exhibitors with the most for you and your bike. Exciting lectures on stage where you can be inspired, entertained and informed. A great try-in area where you can test the latest bike models, both Racers and MTB. Spectacular freestyle show with jumps, volts and challenging tricks. And of course, Cykelriksdag is understood on Friday, where politicians are held accountable for upcoming initiatives on, among other things, bicycle commuting.
Do you notice any exciting trend in connection with this year's events?
Among the exhibitors, I suspect that many people are thinking a lot about what happens after the electric bicycle contribution disappears. It could probably be a topic of conversation at the fair.
