The combination of beautiful nature along the Klarälven river and smooth, fine cycling paths on the old railway embankment that was converted to the Klarälvsbanan is difficult for anyone who wants to be able to fully enjoy their cycling holiday.
In the beautiful and varied Warmland landscape there are lakes, old mansions, museums, linen weavers and churches with a long history to visit.
- What you must not miss and which is inevitable is the beautiful nature around the Klar River. It is possible to get all the way up to Höljes near the Norwegian border via connecting Klarälven trail which is not paved and as flat as the Klarälvsbanan, but which gives you direct access to the old cultural landscape that has brought internationally famous storytellers and poets such as Selma Lagerlöf and Gustaf Fröding.
