The route is mainly on asphalt with some gravel sections and follows both cycle paths and smaller country roads. The terrain is varied but relatively easy to cycle, with about 4,100 meters of altitude distributed over the entire route. During the trip you will pass Drottningholm Palace, Gripsholm Castle, Strängnäs Cathedral, Ramsundshällen's famous Sigurd carving, Arboga, Västerås and several charming small towns along the shores of Lake Mälaren.
