Welcome to relive the old retirement age with the traditions of the turn of the century. Here you live beautifully, eat well and ride a bike with a view of the river Ljusnan that flows in the valley. The bicycle tours go through magnificent scenery with beautiful views of the health village.
You live in Solvillan at the enchanting Hotel Järvsöbaden, a villa 150 meters away from the main building located right at the forest edge. All rooms have access to wireless network connection (wifi). The rooms are individually decorated and no amenities are missing. The beds are comfortable and you have toilet / shower and TV in the room. Järvsöbaden is mentioned in White guide, Sweden's renowned restaurant guide. In the beautiful dining room, a classic five course meal with herring table, soup, main course and dessert is served in the evening.
In addition to dry sauna, steam sauna and jacuzzi, Järvsöbaden has recently furnished a cold bath - in the old potato basement. Through the potato throw, water from the hotel's own source in the Öjeberget pours into the cold bath, which has a temperature of 4-8 degrees.
Included
Two nights at Hotel Järvsöbaden (part in double room in Solvillan)
2 x breakfast
2 x five course dinner (excl. Drink)
Access to SPA and relaxation area (1 visit) including bathrobe, towel, slippers and spa kit
Rental bike and helmet
Add-on Extras
Extra nights, the package is easily supplemented with one or two days
The hotel, which was built as a health resort in 1905, has been in the family's ownership ever since and here the necessary modernization is done with gentle touch to safeguard the hotel's genuine environment and personal charm.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we recommend that you sink into one of the cozy armchairs in front of the fire in one of the meeting rooms. Put your feet up, sink deep into your armchair and let calmness appear. If you arrive early in the day, you can take a short walk down to the village, walk over Ljusnan and visit the Lill-babs museum and enjoy Brostugan's good pastries.
Day 2 - On winding roads through the countryside
Hotel Järvsöbaden
Breakfast and dinner
The next day starts with a breakfast buffet and then carries it to bike by through the landscape that Carl von Linné once described as a microcosm since all types of nature are here. We recommend that the trip goes to Svedbovallen's cowshed, one of the few live cowsheds with its own production and sale of brass butter, butter and cheese from June to September which is about 20 km away. On the way home you can cycle and see the picturesque little village of Nor before returning to Järvsö again.
Perhaps a trip to Järvzoo attracts where the famous wooden sidewalk, 3 km long, offers a unique opportunity to view nature life up close. Or you just stretch out the tired bike legs in front of one of the fires and enjoy some coffee. Or a massage? In the summertime you are welcome to relax in the garden and swim in the outdoor pool. There is also a nine-hole golf course near the hotel. In the evening you are served another good five course menu.
Day 3 - Breakfast and return journey
Breakfast
After completing the breakfast buffet the following day, there is the opportunity to cycle to the famous Hälsingegården Stenegård which with its beautiful garden and sale of various crafts attracts many visitors. The countryside around Järvsö offers many beautiful bike trails but if you do not go for a mountain hike then we recommend a visit to well-known and well-visited Järvsö hill - a 390 meter high mountain with barbecue on the top.
If you fancy a different bike challenge, Järvsö Bergscykel Park is just 400 meters away from the hotel and offers challenging, fun and speedy trails that meander over the mountain. Guides are happy to instruct and the bike park is suitable for everyone regardless of age and physics.

Nice accommodation and very good food. Cycled fikarundan www.jarvso.se/cykel at 26 km and went after Google.Map then it worked. Walking up Järvsö klacken was an experience and took about an hour. We got good service and we are satisfied.

Everything was good! Incredibly beautiful nature and cozy bike paths. It would be good with both shorter and longer bike rides.
July 2019•Allan Åberg★3.3
Absolutely ok bikes and a good route. But disastrously bad with signage, maps. The sights could not be found. If Järvsö is to be marketed as a cycling experience (which is entirely possible with nature and what is) then efforts must be made to improve sensible cycling maps. Also turned to the tourist office, just as bad there. Seizing the opportunities now is not good. Nice response but help needed D-plane it can be canon.

Hi Allan,
Via Järvsöbaden and Sweden by bike, I have received your feedback regarding maps and information on how to cycle to various attractions in Järvsö. I work as a project manager to develop cycling within Destination Järvsö. We are aware of the shortcomings and are working to review various proposals for solutions that should be in place next summer. This summer we refer to various tour suggestions (depending on what kind of cycling you want to do) on our website www.jarvso.se. We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Järvsö, because just as you have discovered, we have both fantastic cycling and unique sights to offer!
Sincerely, Amanda

Combining time for food and exercise is ideal. The package has provided valuable variation on bike paths, asphalt, dirt roads and forest roads. Sometimes so that you wanted some kind of shock absorption on the bike in the meeting with quite large stones. Changes in the local community could be updated, for example ICA struck again in Nor. Several signs about where the bike trail goes would have given an even calmer impression. Tip: Printing the bike instruction with front and back would make it easy to quickly read both text and map.
