This bike tour takes you through large parts of the Kristianstad Wetland. Along the way you will pass visitor points in the biosphere reserve, attractions, farm shops and eateries.
Here awaits an extraordinary dining experience combined with a pleasant overnight stay. Kastanjelund is a charming farm from the early 1900s run by the restaurateur couple Marinette and David Nordal. Take a break from everyday life and experience the changes in nature, cycle along Helge Å, explore the nature reserve Gropahålet and smell the pine forest and sand dunes.
Kastanjelund is very scenic with the sea and Hanöbukten's mile-long beach within walking distance. The Sydostleden cycle path passes just a stone's throw away. There are winding roads and several nice destinations to discover by bike. The host couple can give you tips on some real gems.
The main building houses the reception, restaurant and dining rooms. In the two wing buildings you can stay comfortably in the cozy rooms. You can book a double room, superior room or junior suite. Some rooms have a private patio. Breakfast with homemade sourdough bread, homemade marmalades, local charcuterie and much more is included in all room prices.
