Experience the scenic landscape around Mullsjö in a cycling package that combines wonderful cycling with good food and drink. For two exciting days, Mullsjö Hotel is your base as you explore the area by bike. You cycle in a fairly flat landscape with the exception of a couple of gently undulating ridges, with a mix of winding country roads with asphalt and simple gravel roads.
Feel free to ask for recommendations at the reception for cycling routes if you want to have some different options. You can choose from miles of nice bike paths. Gravel, asphalt or in the forest. Easy and pleasant, with hills or lots of speed. After the day's cycling, you can relax in the hotel's relaxation area and enjoy a three-course dinner in the restaurant.
The package includes accommodation and all meals. You can choose a rental bike with three gears or an electric bike as an option. The varied landscape of forests, lakes and rivers attracts visitors all year round.

Day 1 - Welcome to Mullsjö and the Wilderness Tour

You arrive at Mullsjö Hotell after lunch and check into one of the nice rooms. Your rental bike will be picked up at the reception, and you will get a brief review of maps and trails. An afternoon coffee can be nice before you start cycling, we recommend Lilla Vildmarksrundan.
You cycle through a beautiful cultural-historical landscape, surrounded by horses, sheep, cows, stone walls and majestic large forests. With a little luck, you might spot a moose or a herd of deer along the way. Along the route you will pass several nice bathing spots, and the highest point reaches about 340 meters above sea level. The tour takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and the route is relatively easy to cycle.
After the bike ride, relax in the hotel's relaxation area and enjoy a glass of bubbly (non-alcoholic option available). A three-course dinner and your cozy room await you.
Day 2 - Sandhemsrundan - forests, meadows and lakes

After breakfast, you cycle Sandhemsrundan - a scenic journey through forests, meadows and along lakes. You pass Nykyrka church from 1887, known for its neo-Gothic style. Along the way there are historic sites such as Stora Gålleryd and Vasen, as well as Gravsjön with a nice swimming area. At Kyrkekvarn there is a canoe center with kiosk and café in summer. In Sandhem, a community with about 700 inhabitants, there is a kiosk and shop for refreshments. After Sandhem you pass Tunarps manor from the 16th century. You then cycle through Stråkens valley and pass Ryfors Bruk, dating back to the 18th century and Sweden's first golf course from 1888.

Everything was great. The only thing was that the second day's proposed bike ride was the same as about 1/3 of the first day's bike ride proposal if we read the map correctly. We did not ride it as the weather was not the best, 5 degrees and overcast, so we made some shorter trips instead, but also a little because 1/3 was the same as the first day.
