Discover the Göta Canal by bike and enjoy a mini vacation filled with beautiful nature, good food and charming stops along the way. In this cycling package, you stay comfortably at the classic Göta Hotel in idyllic Borensberg, just a few steps from the canal and the historic lock environment.

Day 1 - Borensberg, Göta Canal & Brunneby Musteri
Göta Hotel, Borensberg
Picnic lunch and dinner

You arrive in the morning at Göta Hotell, a charming hotel from 1908 just a few steps from the Göta Canal. Leave your bags at the reception, pick up your packed lunch and walk to the harbor where you pick up your bike and map at Kaffeteriet in Borensberg harbor (from 10.00).
Cycle the beautiful towpath along the canal to Brunneby Musteri, where you can sample local flavors with 10% discount in the farm shop. If you want to cycle further, the tour can continue to Bergs locks.
Back in Borensberg, you leave the bike and return to the hotel for relaxation on the terrace by the canal before ending the evening with a three-course dinner in the restaurant.
Day 2 - Borensberg & the hand-operated lock
Breakfast
After breakfast, there is time to discover charming Borensberg. Stroll through the village's cozy shops where you can find everything from Italian delicacies and heavenly chocolate sauce to flowers and small gifts.
Also take the opportunity to take a closer look at the hand-operated lock on the Göta Canal - a unique attraction that is still operated by hand.
Before departure, make a last stop at the hotel's own little Prylbod at Göta Hotell, where you also have a 10% discount.

Payment is made by invoice from the organizer and must be completed no later than 10 days before the start of the trip.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
A booking fee of SEK 100 is included in the price but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation 7 days or more before the start of the trip:
10% of the total price will be charged.
Cancellation 6 days or less before the start of the trip:
100% of the total price will be charged.
