The first bike ride was about 3 miles in beautiful nature. But one bike got a flat tire, and we had to lead the bikes 1 mile in the pouring rain to the nearest repairman. It cost us 400:- The second leg was supposed to be 50 km, but turned out to be 62 km. It was far too long, and difficult terrain, in pouring rain and headwind. The brakes on two bikes stopped working, so they had to be led downhill. The hotel owner was kind enough to fix them in the evening. The third stretch to Tiveden was nice and reasonably long, despite half a storm, but the third bike had a brake failure, and had to be led downhill. The fourth day we would cycle back the 5 miles to the starting point. But given the lousy brakes, we did not dare to risk our lives, but the owner of PerOlofgården had to come and pick us up.
Considering the price, we had slightly higher expectations for the food. Dessert could have been included at PerOlofsgården and frozen vegetables felt a bit boring at Hemgården / Nature resort Tiveden. Otherwise, we were very satisfied.
On the whole, everything has been very good. Nice nature and friendly service. Last accommodation, Nature Resort Tiveden was super. Would have liked to check in a little earlier at the first accommodation, Per Olofs farm. Kl. 16 is somewhat late. We also lacked a hair dryer in the room. Bathroom was very cramped. Something we were not happy with that you can not influence is the lunch we had at Tivedstorpet. 175 SEK for a small piece of sandwich cake per person and that was the only thing to choose from. Very nice area and great hosts! The transfer days are quite exhausting if you ride on gravel roads with regular bikes, it's beautiful but progress is pretty slow.
We are again disappointed with the documentation, ie maps and descriptions. When we arrive at the 1st accommodation, they say that you should have sent maps home to me. Now the accommodation arranges it as best it can, but it is quite sad that it should be so. It also became a bit misleading, when the documentation is produced in that way. We have bought a trip where it is clearly stated that maps and descriptions are included so why does it not?
