From Karlstad, the tour starts on nice walking and cycling routes all the way from the center. The city is located where Klarälven meets Vänern and offers many hotels, restaurants and activities worth a visit. Take a trip with the boat buses on the canals or visit the Sandgrund art gallery with Lars Lerin's art.

When you leave Karlstad, the landscape becomes flat and open with many farms along the way. Feel free to stop at Liljenäs farm which has a cozy summer café. After that, the terrain becomes more varied with forest areas, country roads and gravel roads, and gradually more rural environment.

At Hasseldalen there is a nice bathing place for a break. The route then continues in a hilly agricultural landscape, partly on gravel roads and partly on less busy roads. The tour ends in Borgvik, where the charming mill town's cultural environment and beautiful surroundings invite you to both relax and explore. Approx. 60% asphalt, 40% gravel.
