This section of the Sweden Trail starts in Valne, a quiet gem in Jämtland. The surrounding nature gives rise to a sense of peace and harmony.

The route then continues towards Åre, perhaps Sweden's most famous ski and mountain resort, with outstanding natural scenery all year round. Åre is not only a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts, but also a center for outdoor activities with hiking, mountain biking and much more. All with the majestic mountain world as a backdrop. In addition, Åre offers a thriving city life with restaurants, shops and events that attract visitors from near and far.

After Åre, the journey turns towards Sandvika on the Norwegian border. A return to the tranquillity of nature. When you cycle here, you get to enjoy blue lakes and green forests. A nice combination with the vibrant energy of Åre.

Parts of the Northern Sweden Trail run along high-speed roads, but traffic volumes are usually low.
