The route on your phone
Become a member to use the route with your phone. You can use the app, or open the GPX file in another map app or GPS device.
This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
The Uppland Bike Trail stretches 80 kilometers from the Bredsand beach in Enköping to the Ekilla beach in Bålsta. Along the way, you’ll find open landscapes, charming small towns, and beautiful settings where nature and water are always close by.
You’ll cycle through green parks and historic settings, past castles, runestones, and medieval churches. Be sure to stop at one of the trail’s swimming spots or nature reserves, and discover local cafés, farm shops, and restaurants along the way.
The route is suitable for families, everyday cyclists, and anyone who wants to discover new places at a leisurely pace. It is well-marked and easy to follow, with a mix of gravel and asphalt. You’ll mainly be cycling on gravel roads and minor country roads with some car traffic.
