The Nynäs Trail runs from central Stockholm through the beautiful Södertörn (peninsula south of Stockholm between Södertälje, Nynäshamn and Dalarö) and all the way to Nynäshamn. Stop along the road and enjoy wonderful scenery, rune stones, fine bathing lakes, and historic landscapes.

The Nynäs Trail runs between the City Hall in Stockholm and the tourist office in Nynäshamn. If you start from Stockholm you continue cycling across Gamla Stan, Fjällgatan and Vita Bergen on Södermalm, towards the Globe, Gamla Enskede, Drevviken (with several bathing places), Lissma, Ådran, Västerby, Grödby, Väggarö, Ösmo, Söderbyd and Norsbol down towards Nynäshamn . It is a cycle trail with a lot of variety, and relatively easy to walk.
If you want to take a detour to Utö, you can take the Waxholmsbåten from Nynäshamn to Ålö (bike on board as far as possible) and cycle Ålö-Utö with overnight stay at the hostel, to take Waxholmsbåt back to the mainland via Gruvbryggan-Årsta bridge.
