This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
Today's tour starts at Baldersnäs Herrgård, a beautiful and well-kept manor house environment where events are often organized. Here you can hike the many trails, enjoy the garden and stay overnight in charming rooms - please book in advance.
From Baldersnäs, the trail runs easily and pleasantly on nice roads towards Bengtsfors. On the way, you pass a paper mill with its characteristic scent, but also a very nice walking and cycling path out of the community. Bengtsfors is a good place to take a break and recharge your batteries.
The tour then continues along country roads through forest and alongside the Lelång River. Food options along the way are limited, but there is a summer café in Torrskog. For safety, it is recommended that you bring a packed lunch for this stage. Approx 75% asphalt, 25% gravel.
