Beautifully situated by the water in Dals Långed, you'll find Kanalvillan Dalsland, a cozy and welcoming hostel surrounded by the lakes and forests of Dalsland. Located near the Lelångenleden bike trail, it’s the perfect place to stop during a cycling vacation or to use as a base for exploring the area’s beautiful natural surroundings.
Kanalvillan is run by Lisa and Steven, who, along with their two children and the family dog, moved to Dalsland in 2026 to make their dream of owning a hostel a reality. Here, they have created a welcoming place where guests can feel right at home.
The main building features nine individually decorated rooms with varying numbers of beds, shared bathrooms, and cozy common areas. For those who prefer a more secluded stay, there are also two charming cottages right on the water. A shared kitchen makes it easy to prepare your own meals. No matter which accommodation you choose, you’ll enjoy a stay close to nature with a personal atmosphere and Dalsland’s beautiful landscape right outside your door.
