This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
The journey north from Malmö offers a pleasant bike ride with beautiful views. Feel free to take a break at Lomma's shallow beaches or Bjärred's cold bathhouse, a must along the way.
Just outside Malmö is Spillepengen, a green area with rich bird life and the opportunity to try mountain bike trails. In Lomma, new and old meet. The modern harbor coexists with charming cobbled streets, farm shops and a vineyard. Bjärred attracts with swimming from the beach or the long jetty.
On your way to Landskrona, you cycle through open landscapes with sea views. In Landskrona, art, theater and history await - especially the Citadel, one of the Nordic region's best preserved 16th century fortresses. It's also home to Sweden's oldest colony area, full of flowers and life. Want to go further out to sea? Join a fishing trip or take the boat to idyllic Ven - perfect for a leisurely bike ride among nature, local produce and sea views.
