On your way from Skanör towards bike-friendly Malmö, you pass open landscapes and soon reach Vellinge, where there are several restaurants for a break. Between Vellinge and Malmö, the road is lined with farm shops with local produce and large farms with animals.

The contrast is clear when the Malmö skyline looms. But Malmö is more than just a cycling city - here you'll find diversity, a vibrant restaurant scene, lush parks and proximity to the sea.

We recommend staying a few days. Shop for vegetables and eat falafel at Möllan, swim and sauna at Ribbans kallbadhus, walk in Pildammsparken, have a coffee at Slottsträdgården's café and discover Västra Hamnen with the iconic Turning Torso. Malmö also offers a wide range of restaurants, from Guide Michelin restaurants to great street food.
