From Karesuando, a village located in the northernmost part of Sweden where the Torne River crosses the Finnish border, you will cycle through a landscape characterized by deep forests, lakes and open mountain expanses. Karungi, the destination of this stage, is located on the banks of the beautiful Torne River. This part of Sweden is more than just a beautiful landscape - it's also a journey that puts you in touch with the rich Sami culture.
Parts of the Northern Sweden Trail run along high-speed roads, but traffic volumes are usually low.
