On this part of the Sweden Trail, travelers encounter a mix of coastal landscapes, inland forest regions and historical charm. Each part of the journey offers its unique beauty and cultural heritage, giving a rich sense of the heart of central Sweden.

The route begins in Sundsvall, a proud coastal city on the Bothnian Sea. This northern gem, known for its stately stone buildings and rich history, serves as an excellent starting point for this journey.

From the coast, the Sweden Trail heads inland towards Bollnäs in Hälsingland. This part of the journey passes through lush forests, vast meadows and sparkling lakes, giving a sense of Sweden's unfathomable natural riches. Bollnäs itself is a place where tradition meets modernity, with ancient wooden houses and contemporary institutions combining to create a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Finally, you reach Torsång in Dalarna, a village that exudes genuine Swedish charm.
