From Strandvillan you can easily reach both winding country roads through the classic Dala environment and sandy ridges with fine MTB trails that you can get to on your bike. In the immediate area there are also hiking trails along Lillån, Emån, Ore river and Orsasjön. For those interested in fishing, there are very good opportunities, and Lillån contributes to the calm, natural atmosphere next to the house.

Strandvillan is an excellent starting point for day trips in Siljansbygden - to mountain farms, forest lakes, rivers and small roads that offer both variety and cycling pleasure. Simple bikes are available to borrow, as well as canoes and rowing boats for those who want to alternate the saddle with water and tranquility. After a day on the bike, the sauna awaits, a cooling dip from the dock and a good night's sleep.

In winter, Orsa changes shape and offers everything from Grönklitt's downhill skiing and world-class cross-country skiing to electric light trails, ice fishing, long-distance skating on Orsasjön and touring over the marshes in Koppången's nature reserve.
