The stage is part of the Göta Canal cycle path, and follows the gravel road along the Göta Canal all the way except through central Töreboda. You can choose to cross the canal with the ferry Lina during the summer. In winter there is a fixed connection.

The summer idyll Sjötorp is located where the Göta Canal meets Lake Vänern and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The town has several hundred years of history of shipbuilding and fishing, which makes Sjötorp a unique attraction. Here you can enjoy cozy bike paths along the canal or why not take an excursion on a Vänerslup out on the lake. The resort is also a perfect choice if you want to experience the lock up close. Within walking distance there are as many as eight locks.

IN Töreboda the canal divides the city into an eastern and a western part connected by several bridges. In addition, there is Sweden's smallest regular ferry, Lina. During the summer, it is easy to enjoy canal life in Töreboda. There are both cafés and restaurants here, and in the guest harbor it is full speed as a couple of thousand boats and several passenger boats pass every year. If you want a calmer experience, you can go a little outside the central town, to Tåtorp, Jonsboda or Hajstorp, which are all real canal idylls.
