The stage is part of the Göta Canal cycle path. It takes you from Bergs locks, through Linköping and further south of Lake Roxen to Hulta lock at Lake Asplången. From Bergs slussar you can choose to take a boat across Lake Roxen. A bicycle boat runs across Lake Asplången between Hulta Sluss and Snöveltorp.

You cycle through the fertile Östgöta plain that characterizes the landscape. Fields, fields and pastures. As you approach Linköping the stately Cathedral can be seen in the distance. There is a lot to see in the province's largest city. Do not miss Friluftsmuseet Gamla Linköping and Trädgårdsföreningen, Linköping residents' green oasis, which is located in the middle of the city. The city invites to shopping and experiences in the many shops, cafes and restaurants near historic neighborhoods and pleasant squares. Just south of Linköping is an area called Eklandskapet. There are a large number of oaks here and the nature is very beautiful. The central parts of Eklandskapet are located around the estates Brokind, Bjärka-Säby and Sturefors.

The small town Norsholm is a gem. Here you can sit down at one of the garden tables next to the lock that connects Lake Roxen with the Göta Canal and enjoy a good coffee or light lunch.
