In Nora and Pershyttan, cycling adventures await among mining remains and magnificent nature.

The wooden town of Nora is a perfect starting point for cycling. Here you will find everything from easy day trips and country roads to gravel and MTB trails for those who want more of a challenge. Several tours start right in the town center, while trails for gravel and MTB start from Pershyttan, Digerberget, and Gyttorp.

Pershyttan's MTB area offers 16 different trails that vary from short child-friendly loops to long and technically demanding tours. Here you cycle through historic environments with mining remains and trails shaped by both people and nature. The area is linked to both Ånnaboda in the south and Hjulsjö in the north, which makes it easy to extend the adventure.

For extra speed, there is Kottaberget, with built flow trails that have quickly become a favorite among MTB cyclists. You can get here via trail 2 or 6, but note that a trail pass is required. With the variety of trails and the proximity to Nora town, Pershyttan is an obvious destination for anyone who likes cycling.
