In Kloten you cycle straight into the wilderness - right in the middle of one of the world's richest moose areas.

Kloten is located in the middle of one of Sweden's largest nature reserves and is known as one of the world's richest moose areas. Here you will encounter the real wilderness with high, spruce-forested mountains, deep valleys and pristine streams. In addition to moose, predators such as wolves, bears and lynx are also found here - but you'll rarely see them, usually noticing their presence through tracks in the wild.

The area is perfect for those who want to discover the wilderness from the saddle. The gravel roads wind through the landscape and are equally suitable for a standard bike or a mountain bike. There are four routes to choose from, ranging from shorter 10km rides for the whole family to longer adventures of up to 87km.

Looking for variety? Take a fishing break at one of the clear lakes, follow Malingsboleden and count how many lakes you cycle past, or experience the freedom of rolling through three different counties on the same day trip. Kloten offers nature experiences that are as grand as they are accessible - perfect for those who want both cycling adventure and a quiet wilderness feeling.

Getting Here

There are buses to Kopparberg and Skinnskatteberg, but not all the way to Kloten. For those who want to take the bike, it is most convenient to travel by car.
