As the name suggests, the Runn Rundt cycle trail takes you around the archipelago-like Lake Runn between Falun and Borlänge. The trail runs through beautiful natural and cultural landscapes and you can choose to start your bike ride at the place that suits you best. If you start from Borlänge, the trail is about 10 km longer.
You will pass many places of interest and historical interest, several of which are linked to the Falun World Heritage Site. Torsång is a popular excursion destination where many go to check out the boating life. Visit Torsångs hembygdsgård and take a look inside the medieval stone church. There is also a motor museum and an old café known for its ”hästräka” sandwich.
You will also pass Ornässtugan, which is known to have housed the future king, Gustav Vasa. It is said that the king escaped from the Danes through the outhouse at the back of the loft. Feel free to stop by for a guided tour. There is also a gift shop and a café. Along the trail there is also a fine selection of nice restaurants and cafés, swimming spots and other exciting things to see and do.
The city is best known for the Falu Mine, which is a World Heritage Site and an exciting place to visit. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops in the center. The starting point of the cycle path is at Tiskenbron, opposite Tiskens vårdcentral.
Kniva is home to Stabergs Bergsmansgård with its magnificent baroque garden, restored to its 18th century appearance. In the former barn you will find Staberg's tavern with garden café and restaurant.
In the village of Vika, the open farmland meets the vast forests. Vika church is famous for its 1550s frescoes and its collection of medieval wooden sculptures. There is also the bird lake Kyrkbytjärn, as well as Kungsladan, the place where Gustav Vasa hid from the Danes.
In Torsång you can watch the boating life. Visit Torsång's homestead, look into the medieval church and visit the motor museum. Don't miss tasting a so-called ”Hästräka”, gustaf sausage, shrimp salad and eggs on rye cake, at the historic Torsång Café.
There are plenty of services, restaurants, cafés and accommodation for those who want to make a stop or stay overnight. Take the opportunity to visit the Jussi Björling Museum or make a detour to the Kupolen shopping area. The bike trail's starting point is the starting point at Resecentrum.

Information signs with maps are available in Staberg, Vika, Torsång, Ornäs, Falun and Borlänge. The starting point in Falun is at Tiskenbron, opposite Tiskens vårdcentral. In Borlänge the sign is at Resecentrum. Follow the red signs “200 Runn Runt.
Don't forget to bring your swimwear, there are plenty of lovely swimming spots along the way. In summer, many small shops, studios, cafés and other exciting places to visit open their doors.
The trail is mostly on asphalt, with some gravel sections. The Vika-Torsång stretch is cycled on the road in mixed traffic and is therefore not recommended for children under 12 years.
