This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
Cycle from Borgvik to Skutberget through a landscape where culture meets nature. In Borgvik, art and history wait side by side. Visit Hyttruinen, Sliperiet art gallery or have a coffee at Kungskvarnen before continuing along quiet roads.
On the way to Segerstad, you can stop at Kullens Bigård for local honey or take a swim at Hasseldalens badplats. In Segerstad you are met by farm life and the Bullerby feeling with Edsberg's farm, Liljenäs farm and the nearby Segerstad nature reserve, where paths lead out over Lake Vänern's beach meadows.
Towards the end you reach Skutberget, a paradise for outdoor life with swimming areas, jogging trails, mountain bike trails, disc golf and the high-altitude course Högt & Lågt. Here you can stay comfortably by the water at First Camp Skutberget or Bomstadbaden, both with beach, kayak rental and the possibility of a relaxing sauna with lake views.
