The last day offers a real "charm stage", where the highlights succeed each other. The cycling is quite simple and starts past Görvälns gård. Then follows a beautiful stretch near Lake Mälaren along a gravel road. Here sheep graze in the pastures, and you pass several gates along the way.
Görvälnsbadet is a lovely swimming area. Shortly afterwards, it is important to pay attention to find the small bike path by the parking lot. Do not follow Mälarvägen, as there are no signs here.
The journey continues on varied gravel roads through forests and past beaches, with short stretches of asphalt. The route meanders to the right and left, so follow the digital map carefully. In some places it is a little hilly, but generally it is easy to cycle. There are several benches along the way if you want to take a break.
Lövstabadet has a nice beach and a summer café. Another beach is Hässelby strandbad - here you should not follow the signposted trail, but instead take the well-landscaped Strandliden promenade, which leads on past Maltesholmsbadet. After that, Kanaansbadet awaits, with its charming Trädgårdscafé.
A short and steep hill leads up to Blackeberg, before it goes down again to Ängbybadet. The last 10 kilometers follow the same route as at the start of day 1 - along the cycle path towards Stockholm, past the City Hall and back to Stockholm Central. Approx 70% asphalt, 30% gravel.
Congratulations - you have now completed the entire Mälardalsleden!
