The route on your phone
Become a member to use the route with your phone. You can use the app, or open the GPX file in another map app or GPS device.
This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
The first stage of the Ljungleden takes you from Gothenburg's city pulse to nature-oriented Floda. Along the way you follow the Säveån river through lush green areas, small communities and a varied cultural landscape. The further east you go, the slower the pace becomes. Today's destination is Floda, a pleasant town on Lake Sävelången with swimming facilities, cafés and good communications.
