Järva cycle path is an almost completely car-free cycle path that runs through several of the most remarkable natural and cultural environments on Järvafältet in northern Stockholm. In total, the trail includes about 70 km of signposted cycle paths, designed as a ring trail where you can start and end the tour where it suits you best.
The trail passes through several nature reserves and offers great variety: old farm environments, grazing animals, bird-rich wetlands, sparkling lakes and forests with a primeval feel. Here you get a unique combination of nature experiences and cultural history near the big city.
At each commuter train station there is a starting point for the Järva cycle path. The trail is developed and signposted by the Swedish Cycling Society.
