This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
In Ulricehamn you will find a charming town center with cobbled streets, small shops and a large selection of nice restaurants and cafés. There are several accommodation options and a beautiful cold bath house by Lake Åsunden, which offers a restaurant, massage and the opportunity for refreshing lake bathing. You cycle parallel to Sjuhäradsrundan and can follow these signs all the way to Tranemo.
After Marbäck, you pass Korpeboberg's lush deciduous forests at the farms Näsboholm, Kärrabo and Korpebo. There is a viewing and rest area with benches, tables and barbecue facilities. The site is also part of the Åsundenleden hiking trail. Vegby has both camping and a swimming area. For the shopping enthusiast, a detour to Gällstad is recommended. The small town, known for its rich textile history, offers an exciting range of both new brands and classic international brands.
At Månstad you cycle through a beautiful agricultural landscape. Here is the opportunity for a coffee break at the station area. A detour to Hofsnäs Herrgård and Torpa stenhus, which are 6 km and 11 km respectively from the trail, is well worth the effort. At Hofsnäs you can enjoy lakeside accommodation, good food and beautiful hiking trails. Torpa Stenhus is one of Sweden's best-preserved 16th-century manor houses, where you can experience unique architecture and fascinating stories. On the way to Tranemo, you'll pass Skårtebo nature reserve, where there are several picnic areas, and Opensten - a medieval defense fortress dating back to the 13th century.
