Tåtorp is situated in a natural setting where the Göta canal flows into Lake Viken. At Tåtorp Café & Logi you live a little extra environmentally friendly. The rooms are light and airy with wide, comfortable beds. Stay in single rooms, in pairs or up to six people in spacious family rooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and a nice dining room with plenty of space.
Relax for a while under the apple trees with a good organic coffee. In summer, a locally produced and organic breakfast is served with, among other things, tomatoes, eggs, bread and cold cuts from the area. Cycle on the old towpath between Tåtorp and Sjötorp, a distance of 36 km. Here there are many cozy cafes, good accommodation and nice places to stop. Visit the Crafts magazine in Hajstorp, the mini canal in Norrqvarn, the glassblower in Lyrestad and the canal museum in Sjötorp. Bicycles are available for rent.
It is close to nature with canoeing, swimming and fishing in Lake Viken and cycling along the Göta canal. In Tiveden and Kinnekulle there are great cycling opportunities for those who want to stay longer in the area.
Visit Forsvik's mill and take part in industrial history or have an ice cream and watch the boats make their way through the Göta Canal's oldest lock.
Do not miss the beautiful sculpture "The Boy" which sits and looks out over the canal. The artist Bianca Maria Barmen connects to her own channel experiences as a child.
