In Ulricehamn, which got its name from Queen Ulrika Eleonora, Skotteksgården is located on the lake Åsunden. On the lake ice there was a big battle between Swedes and Danes on a winter day in the 16th century, but today it is about family camping and sunny days on the beach. Skotteksgården is a perfect accommodation for those who come by bicycle and enjoy a wide range of activities in scenic surroundings while being close to the city.
Skotteksgården's family camping with cottages and apartments. Here you can swim on your own beach, go out on the camping dock and admire the view, go canoeing, fishing or maybe play beach volleyball when the spirit falls. There is a cycle tour that runs around Åsunden and includes views found in Birgit Th Sparre's novels about the farms around the lake. You can also learn a little more about the battle on the ice of Åsunden. There is also a golf course nearby.
Number of beds: The cottages offer a comfortable and charming accommodation. All have wood-burning stoves that can spread warmth and mood in the evening. The cabins are well equipped and you can stay 2-12 people in one cabin. There are a number of different variants of accommodation, including a lake bungalow for larger groups and fresh apartments. In the restaurant at Skottegsgården you eat well in a cozy environment. If you want to make a detour to eat something else, it is not far to central Ulricehamn. Pets are welcome (pre-booked).
