Moshult's hostel is located in a rural, cultural-historical environment with forest and animals close by. Here you can enjoy the peace, quiet and nature and sleep well between freshly ironed sheets. The hosts Katti and Leif welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable.
One of our greatest writers, Vilhelm Moberg, grew up in the village of Moshult. Within walking distance is the place where Vilhelm was born, the house he grew up in, the school he attended, the paths he walked and the roads he cycled. The atmosphere and environment influenced his upbringing and later inspired his stories, including the series The Emigrants.
You can book single, double and family rooms, all pleasantly and personally decorated. There is a large garden with a barbecue area and access to outdoor furniture for an afternoon coffee in the sun. The restaurant is happy to serve Mountaineer which is a pan-fried steak served with boiled potatoes, cream sauce, krösamos and salad. The recipe comes from Vilhelm Moberg's housekeeper.
