The stretch between Ängelholm and Båstad is the most hilly section of the Kattegatt Trail. Enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and the varied agricultural landscape of the Bjäre Peninsula.

The Kattegattleden passes central Ängelholm right next to the train and bus station and guides you further down to the beautiful district Havsbaden. Here you are met by forest, untouched nature and a wonderfully wide and long sandy beach. Stop by the beach kiosk and sample Engelholms Ice Cream, the city's own proud ice cream brand.

The journey continues along the coast towards Skälderviken, through small villages and fishing villages. On the way you cross Rönne å - a perfect stop for canoeing or perhaps a relaxing paddle on a SUP board. You pass Skepparkroken and Vejbystrand before turning off in Killebäckstorp towards picturesque Torekov. Here you will find cafés, restaurants and you can also take the boat over to Hallands Väderö. From Torekov, the tour continues, into the very heart of Bjäre. Here awaits a small-scale agricultural landscape, typical of the Bjäre Peninsula, shaped and based on cattle farming since prehistoric times. You meet the sea again at Norrvikens Trädgårdar and follow the trail further towards Båstad harbor. Approx. 80% asphalt, 20% gravel.
