This cycling route has undergone a special certification by the Swedish Transport Agency, which certifies that the path is of high quality, has clear signage and is safe for traffic. There is also a wide range of experiences and services along the trail.
In Karlshamn's cozy city center with well-preserved houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, you will find a wide range of lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. On this stage you cycle in an open landscape along the coast where there are several bathing places that invite you to a cooling dip.
Mörrum is famous for its sport fishing waters. Here you can fish for salmon and sea trout. In Norje you have reached the halfway point of the Sydostleden. In Sölvesborg, you can cycle on the spectacular Sölvesborg Bridge, which connects Listerlandet with the city. It is Europe's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge with fantastic lighting at night.
In the cozy city center you will find cafes, shops and restaurants. Around the square, the medieval street network has been preserved and a short distance away is the oldest building in the city - St. Nicolai Church, built around the turn of the 1300s. Don't miss the Four Seasons Park, created by Dutch garden designer Piet Oudolf.
