Österåsen - a place where the tranquility of the forest meets cycling fun for the whole family.

There are several gravel and bog roads that meander through the Jämtland forest and offer a nature-oriented cycling experience. Along the way, beautiful pastoral nature awaits and perhaps a meeting with the inhabitants of the forest. There are several different tour suggestions, with symbols for moose spotting sites.

The area is suitable for both those who want to cycle on their gravel or xc bike and do a proper workout on super nice roads, or those on a regular bike who want to go out with a coffee basket and just enjoy nature. After the ride, you can come straight back to the campsite café for a cold drink and a swim afterwards. Detailed maps are available at the reception at Österåsens Bad och Camping.
