The tour starts in Dorotea and follows small roads through the town before continuing out into a tranquil forest landscape. The route runs along a mix of gravel and paved roads and offers a peaceful cycling experience that brings you close to the nature of Västerbotten. Here you’ll find forests, small lakes, and silence—an environment that invites you to take breaks and enjoy nature at a leisurely pace.
The last kilometer back toward Dorotea is on asphalt and takes you smoothly back to town, where you can wrap up your trip with a coffee break or explore more of the town’s attractions.

The Kullerbacken local heritage area is well worth a visit; there you’ll find historic buildings such as a baker’s cottage, a logger’s cabin, a Sami hut, and a njalla. In the summer, waffles are also served here during the day.
