This stage marks the beginning of a more hilly bike ride along road 360 towards Vilhelmina. The gradients are generally moderate, but some climbs can be long, reaching a height of 589 meters above sea level in the village of Risträsk before the descent towards Vilhelmina. The landscape is characterized by forested hills, wide lakes and open wetlands, creating a peaceful and scenic backdrop for your journey.
As you approach Vilhelmina, the terrain becomes more open, and the town greets you with its traditional wooden house architecture and stunning views of Lake Volga. Vilhelmina offers an inviting stop with shops, restaurants, accommodation and historic sights, including the iconic church town of Vilhelmina. It's an ideal place to take a break and immerse yourself in the local culture before continuing into the more mountainous parts of Västerbotten.
