The stage starts in Lennartsfors, an idyllic town known for its canal locks, nice restaurants and accommodation. From here, a longer stretch on asphalt awaits, about 20 km, along a shared road with fairly little traffic. It goes easily up and down through spruce forest, before the trail turns onto gravel roads.
After a short passage on a 1.5 km long path, a little steep but fully bikeable, the tour continues on hilly gravel roads through forests and past several lakes. At Nordmarkens distillery there is a nice place for a break with benches by the water. Although the business is not open except for booked groups, there is usually an opportunity to talk for a while with the enthusiasts who run the distillery.
Towards the end of the stage, the landscape opens up into a beautiful cultural landscape. At Västra Fågelvik, both a beautiful church and a bathing place await. From here you have a magnificent view of the lake - a perfect place to round off the day. Feel free to bring a packed lunch, as there are many places to eat on this stage. Approx 70% asphalt, 30% gravel.
