From Brennemoen, the trail first runs through an open cultural landscape. The area is located on a ridge and offers fine views of Indre Østfold. Soon you will be cycling on quiet back roads towards Askim and Spydeberg. Between the towns you can stop at Gamle Fossum bridge, where there is a rest area, an inn and a war memorial. Don't miss Spydeberg Prestegård, with its historic garden.

Further on, you pass the idyllic Mørk golf course, surrounded by pine forest and fine asphalt roads. In Tveter you can stop at the farm shop Den sorte Havre, and in Kirkebygden quiet and scenic small roads await. The trail continues towards Rødsund, a perfect place for a break at the benches placed by the water.

The last part goes towards Moss. Here you first follow a few kilometers along Vålerveien, which has a little more traffic, before the trail takes you back onto idyllic cycle paths and small streets. Moss is a charming town on the Oslofjord, with shops, restaurants and everything you could possibly need. Stop by the waterfall in Verket and the old industrial area that today houses cultural centers and eateries. Here you will also find Norway's longest wooden workers' house. The stage ends at Konventionsgården in Moss - the official start and end point of the Union Trail. Approx. 95% asphalt, 5% gravel.
