The area is located as a triangle between Varberg, Falkenberg and Ullared, and is known as one of Sweden's foremost beech forest areas. Here you will encounter a unique nature with hilly terrain, about twenty lakes and a rich biodiversity with several unusual and endangered species.

For those who want to cycle, Åkulla bokskogar offers a scenic experience with varied terrain and winding roads through lush forests. The combination of forest, lakes and nature reserve makes the area perfect for both day trips and longer bike rides.
