The Bussjö Route is a scenic day trip that takes you from Umeå out to the Västerbotten coast and back again. Along the way, you’ll cycle through a varied landscape of forests, open fields, and small villages before the sea suddenly opens up before you.

This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to combine cycling with a day at the coast. Bring your swimsuit and enjoy a dip at one of the area’s lovely beaches, or stop for lunch or a coffee break at Bettnessand Beach, Norrmjöle Beach, or the Norrmjöle Golf Restaurant.

    This is one of Umeå’s most popular coastal destinations. The long sandy beach, the sweeping ocean views, and the peaceful setting make this the perfect spot for a break during a bike ride.

    Here you’ll find a shallow sandy beach, a restaurant, and beautiful views of the sea. During the summer, the beach attracts both swimmers and nature lovers, and the open coastal setting offers a wonderful sense of the sea and freedom.

    The restaurant is beautifully situated next to the golf course. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal, a refreshing drink, or a cup of coffee before heading back to Umeå.
