Start your day exploring charming Dalarö, where narrow alleyways are lined with colorful wooden houses and boating sets the tone. Take a short walk up to Lotsberget for a sweeping view of the archipelago's glittering islands before boarding the boat that will take you further out into the southern part of the Stockholm archipelago.
Here, a landscape shaped by the last ice age opens up, with thousands of islands stretching like a string of pearls into the Baltic Sea - one of the world's true natural wonders. The first stop is Ornö, the largest island in the southern archipelago and still something of a secret. Here you will find a living island with quiet forests, open meadows and a landscape that invites both cycling and exploring on foot.
Cycle between small farms and nature reserves, take a dip in one of the island's lakes or visit the charming wooden church from 1885. Don't miss Telegrafberget - the highest point in the archipelago - for breathtaking views of sea, islands and sky. In the afternoon, the boat heads back to Stockholm. Sit back on deck and enjoy the tranquil journey through canals and islands before reaching Strömkajen and the pulse of the city.
